These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of B88 Radio ("B88", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the site you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. You are responsible for activity under your account — keep your password private.
You retain ownership of everything you upload (music, images, videos, text, tape metadata, profile content). By uploading, you grant B88 a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, stream, transcode, and display your content as necessary to operate the service. This license ends when you remove the content or close your account, except to the extent copies have already been shared with other users.
You represent that you have the rights needed to upload everything you share, including any covers, samples, remixes, or collaborations. If your music is registered with a Performance Rights Organization (ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, GMR), acknowledge this during upload; B88 may not yet hold a blanket license for all PRO-registered works.
If your track was composed, sung, or instrumented using generative AI (beyond standard production tools like AI mastering), you are strongly encouraged to disclose it during upload. Artists enrolled in Certified Organic have their uploads scanned for AI generation; the badge applies only to scans under the threshold. Misrepresenting AI-generated work may result in loss of the Certified Organic badge and, in repeated cases, account action.

Violations may result in content removal, account restriction, or permanent ban without refund.
If you believe content on B88 infringes your copyright, send a takedown notice to hello@b88radio.com including: (a) identification of the copyrighted work, (b) the URL of the infringing content, (c) your contact info, (d) a statement of good-faith belief the use is not authorized, (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that the notice is accurate, and (f) your physical or electronic signature.
We will remove content identified in a valid notice and may terminate repeat infringers.
Some features require payment (subscriptions for venue/label/gallery tiers, paid tape reseeds, PRO registration fees). Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically at the stated interval until canceled. You can cancel any time from the billing portal — cancellation stops the next renewal but does not refund the current period. One-time purchases (reseeds, PRO fees) are non-refundable once fulfilled.
Phone verification is strictly opt-in. The only SMS we send is a one-time numeric verification code that you request by clicking "Send code" on the Phone Verification page. No marketing, no promotional messages, no recurring texts. Reply STOP to block further SMS from the sending number; reply HELP for help. Carrier message and data rates may apply.
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, your profile and content are removed from public view promptly, though limited records may be retained for legal, tax, or abuse-prevention purposes as described in the Privacy Policy.
B88 Radio is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific propagation outcomes for tapes, or the accuracy of third-party services integrated into the platform (streaming bridges, AI scans, payment processors).
To the fullest extent permitted by law, B88 Radio and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Total liability for any direct damages shall not exceed the amount you have paid to B88 in the past 12 months, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.
We may update these Terms over time. Material changes will be announced by updating the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, notifying active users via email. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
